Bridging Strategy, Technology, and Economics

I'm Farid. By day, I'm a Senior Executive shaping strategy. By night, I'm a builder, keeping my passion for code alive through Proj55.

It Started with a C64

My journey didn't start in a boardroom; it started in front of a glowing screen, typing distinct commands into a Commodore 64. That diverse machine was my gateway into a world where logic and creativity met. The thrill of making a machine do exactly what I wanted—pixel by pixel, line by line—sparked a lifelong fascination with technology.

That early curiosity never faded. It evolved. From BASIC to modern web frameworks, I've always kept my hands on the keyboard, believing that to truly understand the future of tech, you have to be able to build it.

The Executive Path

Today, I serve as a Senior Executive, where I focus on high-level strategy, IT infrastructure, and economic trends. My role involves making decisions that shape organizations and drive growth.

But I've never believed in being a "hands-off" leader. My deep technical background allows me to bridge the gap between abstract strategy and concrete execution. I understand the complexities my teams face because I still face them myself in my personal projects.

Why Proj55?

Proj55 is my digital garden. It's a passion project where I can take off the executive hat and put on the builder's hat.

Here, I showcase the apps (iOS & Web) I've built from scratch, and I share my unfiltered thoughts on Strategy, IT, and Economics via my blog. It's a space for experimentation, learning, and sharing knowledge with the community.

Whether you're here to check out an app or read an article, I hope you find something that sparks your own curiosity.
